Three days ago our Extension Art Program went on a trip to Hamilton Museum. We saw many famous artworks from New Zealand Artists, like
Michael Smither, who could see colours in music. We also saw a variety of pottery and sculptures. At the end of the day we painted our own landscape. I painted a snowy mountain landscape behind a pine forest and a river. The Year 7's painted a landscape while our Year 8's painted a self-portrait. We all enjoyed our trip.
This is a very brief overview from someone who is a competent writer! I would really like you to write a detailed account of the day which we could include in the school magazine. I am sure that Mrs Dixon has some photos too. You could ask others in our class (those who went on the trip) to help you write it!
